Wits CfA's Prof Nukri Komin has been elected Chair of the Board for the international H.E.S.S. Collaboration. This is an important leadership role within one of the leading observatories studying very high energy (VHE) gamma-ray astrophysics. More information will appear here in the coming days, but for now we congratulate Prof Komin on this enormous honour and acknowledgement of his critical role within the H.E.S.S. Collaboration for over two decades.
